VOLUNTEERS

Hi! Thanks so much for checking out our volunteer page. So, what brought you here?...a desire to serve?...you've been part of the family for years?...God's calling? There are many reasons you may have ended up here. Personally, I hope you truly feel a call to serve. You should know that you can and will make a difference in people's lives through your service.

If you haven't prayed about serving at Soulfest, I would ask that you do that before you fill out the application. Ask Him where He wants you to be, what He wants you to do, and what divine appointments He may have planned for you. I pray deeply over each volunteer assignment and sincerely ask for His guidance when creating each department team.

More than ever, I want our volunteers to experience growth and forward movement in their walk through their service. I know that if we open our hearts and minds and throw our crowns at our Savior's feet, he will change us, be with us, mold us and teach us. Even as we make the sacrifices of leaving our jobs, possibly being away from family, traveling, figuring out finances, etc., we need to remember what an opportunity He has given us to serve Him and the Christian Body. We need to use the talents that He has blessed us with to serve the Kingdom. Don't bury them in the field or hide them under a bushel. Use what God has blessed you with to serve your neighbors, to gain new insight, to grow, to learn and to get closer to the man or woman He has planned for you to be.

Please know that, I too, am a volunteer. I truly walk beside you and with you. I believe in the mission of this festival with all my heart. I know that God has called me to serve this ministry in this way for Him. I am continually humbled and amazed that He allows me to serve Him in this capacity.

Each of us has gifts and talents, things to share, and things to learn. I look forward to an incredible year of service and seeing His Hand touch people in a deep new way.

Again, please pray fervently before you sign up. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

In His Arms,

Kathy Kelley
